my getaway

so…. today, i had to teach piano at 1:30pm……….1:30 PM!!!…… and i got a phone call at 2:15pm from my piano student’s mom, and i was still in bed…..=(
so i woke up and got there at 2:35pm.  i only taught them piano today and no vietnamese cuz i have to teach another kid at home after those kids….

i slept at 5pm that morning…. 7 hrs of sleep is just not enuff?  ay….. i need to fix this problem of mine.  i need to learn how to get up when i need to…….

i don’t know how i’m gonna maintain a real job this way….i’ll prob get fired on the first week.  =(

if you were at home all alone, and lets say you realized there was a HUGE natural disaster.  who would you contact first?  dad, mom, brother, sister, significant other, children, a certain friend?

i just came upon this question one night, and i honestly don’t know my answer to this question…….

anyhow, it was a VERY interesting experience.  i now understand the process of selecting Jurors.  i understand some of the rules and the steps of a trial.  i get to see witnesses testify, and see the attorney ask interesting questions for witnesses.

i got to know a couple of people.  as we can’t discuss about the case until it was over, we get to know about each other more.  we met from about 9am-5pm for 4 days.  lol, kinda like how i get to know some people from retreats.  =P

during deliberation, we had to look through and consider ALL the evidence and not be bias.  look at things in details and discussing with each other to reach a conclusion.  (in which we agree the Judge had nice hair.  hahaha).

so yeah……. we said the defendant was guilty.  even though we all felt bad for the fairly old man…… but we had to do what we did.  sigh…..

even though it was an interesting experience, i would not wish to do it again just because it was very time consuming AND we hardly get paid for it….

it sucks when the person(s) you think and care about probably NEVER think about you, and had probably forgotten ur existence…

sometimes you may AIM them, but they hardly ever reply.  same facebook comment….
